El Roi: The God Who Sees with Mercy
Scripture Reading
“He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalm 107:20)
“You are the God who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13)
“And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” (Luke 13:12)
Healing Testimony
One day my sister sent me two prayer points. Among them was one about her health. She had been feeling unwell, and doctors were still running checks. Nothing was clear yet.
As I prayed, the Lord gave me a vision: I saw a shallow brook of water — stagnant and unmoving. The Spirit whispered, “Pray for it to dry up.”
I obeyed. I prayed for the brook to dry.
Later, doctors explained she had water in her heart and asked her to come for treatment. But the healing Word had already gone ahead. By the time she was due, the water was gone. She needed no treatment. The Lord saw her before the doctors saw. He healed her before men named the sickness.
Healing Message (The Dry Brook and the Bent Woman)
Have you ever carried a sickness, a pain, or a weight that no one could fully explain? People may give it a name, doctors may run tests, and friends may assume it is simply the result of age, stress, or labor. But often, behind what men see, there is something deeper.
This was the case of my sister. Before doctors gave their full report, the Lord showed me a shallow brook of water and said, “Pray for it to dry up.” Later, the doctors confirmed there was water in her heart. But by then, the healing Word had already gone ahead. The brook was dried up.
The same was true in Luke 13:10–13. A woman had been bent over for 18 years. People thought it was simply old age, poverty, or hard labor. But when Jesus saw her, He revealed the truth: it was a chain from the devil. That same moment, He loosed her. She stood upright, healed and free.
Beloved, hear this: the same Lord who saw my sister’s condition before men discovered it, and who saw the bent woman’s true affliction, sees you now. El Roi the God who sees with mercy is looking into the hidden corners of your body, your family, your business, and your destiny.
What men cannot explain, He will expose. What affliction has been hiding, He will cast out. What chains have held you, He will break.
The Word of God is running swiftly toward you. And just as the woman stood upright, just as the brook dried, you too shall rise in health and freedom.
Healing Declarations
Lay your hand on your chest and declare with faith:
1. El Roi sees me with mercy; He has not abandoned me.
2. Every brook of hidden sickness dries up in Jesus’ name.
3. The gaze of God is upon me His Word runs swiftly to heal me.
4. Like the bent woman, I rise upright and free from every chain.
5. I shall live in health and strength to glorify the Lord.
Final Prayer:
“Lord, You are El Roi, the God who sees with mercy. Look upon me today. Expose every hidden work of sickness, dry up every brook of affliction, and let me rise in healing and freedom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
