Healing Testimony
I was working in a printing press some years ago and doing well when I began to experience a minor cough. After a while I noticed blood in the sputum and went to the hospital in Agbara, Ogun State, Nigeria. The doctor ordered an X-ray, and the result showed tuberculosis. I left the hospital depressed, but on the way home I decided to seek God’s solution. I opened my concordance and found Jeremiah 30:17, and began to confess it every hour. The doctor asked me to bring an early-morning sample each day for testing. On the first and second day there was still blood, but I kept declaring the Word. On the third day I coughed and there was no blood. When the doctor examined it, he said, ‘There is no tuberculosis in you again.’ I whispered, ‘Affliction shall not rise the second time.’ Today I am completely free and healthy. God’s Word truly works wonders. Praise God!
Healing Message – The Word That Restores
Sickness and affliction are among the weapons the enemy uses to weaken God’s people. Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; but I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
Some attacks are visible, others subtle stress, lingering pain, emotional heaviness, or repeated infirmity but behind many of them lies the enemy’s desire to distract believers from their calling and to make them doubt God’s goodness. When we stand on the Word and declare healing, we are not just treating symptoms; we are resisting the devil’s work and enforcing Christ’s victory at the cross.
Healing begins the moment we anchor on the living Word of God. In Jeremiah 30:17, God does not say, “I will send medicine to heal you,” but “I will restore health to you.” His Word is both the medicine and the doctor.
This testimony reminds us that healing often begins the moment faith meets revelation. The man did not wait for feelings or visible change he acted on the Word, confessing it hourly until life replaced affliction.
Just as light dispels darkness, the Word drives out disease. When you hold onto a healing scripture and speak it continually, you are sowing the seed of restoration into your body. Each declaration waters that seed until the harvest of health appears.
The prophet Nahum declared, “Affliction shall not rise up the second time.” (Nahum 1:9) That is not merely comfort; it is covenant. God’s restoration is not temporary it is meant to last.
If sickness, fear, or oppression has tried to revisit your life, stand on this same Word. Speak it aloud: “The Lord restores my health. Affliction shall not rise again.” The power that healed once is still active now.
Healing Declarations
1. The Word of God is life and health to my body.
2. Every trace of affliction is uprooted in Jesus’ name.
3. I receive complete restoration spirit, soul, and body.
4. The covenant of peace stands firm over my household.
5. Affliction shall not rise a second time. Amen.
Prophetic Decree Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for Your Word that restores health and breaks the power of affliction. I decree today that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and no sickness, pain, or disease shall dwell in it.
Every hidden work of darkness assigned against my health is exposed and destroyed. I overturn every report of infirmity, every curse, and every generational pattern of sickness. By the blood of Jesus, I erase the handwriting of affliction written against me.
I speak to my body receive life! Every cell, tissue, and organ, align with divine order. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead quickens me now.
I decree:
– The power of sickness is broken.
– The covenant of health stands firm.
– The peace of God fills my mind and my sleep.
– Every door of fear and anxiety is shut forever.
Affliction shall not rise a second time. I walk in divine health, renewed strength, and supernatural vitality. I shall live to declare the works of the Lord. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
