Wings of Healing

Seed of Expectation

Scripture

Acts 3:1–5 – “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them…”
Genesis 18:22–32 – “…But if I find ten righteous men, I will spare the whole city.”

Testimony from the Word

There was a man who had been lame from birth. Every day, he was carried and laid at the gate of the temple called Beautiful, where he begged for coins to survive. That was his daily routine — placed before the temple but never able to enter in.

One day, as Peter and John approached, they fixed their eyes on him. Peter said, “Look at us.” The man looked up, expecting to receive something — perhaps a little silver or gold. But what he received was far greater. Peter declared, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Immediately, strength entered his feet and ankles, and he stood up, leaping and praising God. His expectation became the doorway for God’s power.

Word of Faith

“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.” (Psalm 107:20)

The mercy of God flows through His Word to heal, deliver, and restore. In Genesis 18, Abraham stood before the Lord interceding for Sodom. He began with fifty righteous, but God in His mercy allowed the number to be reduced all the way down to ten. This reveals the heart of God — He is merciful, compassionate, and always willing to heal, to save, and to deliver. He does not demand much; He only looks for a seed.

That same mercy is what we see in Acts 3. A man, lame from birth, was laid daily at the temple gate to beg for coins. On the day of his healing, all he carried was expectation. He looked at Peter and John, hoping for something small, but God met that seed with power. Through Peter’s words — “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk” — he was instantly healed.

Both stories declare one truth: God does not require a tree of faith; He responds to a seed. Even the smallest expectation opens the door for His mercy to move. If you can believe, this very Word is for you. Your healing has already started — no matter the condition or the area where you are trusting Him.

Declaration / Confession

Lord, I receive power to walk.
I receive power to see.
I receive power to walk out healed.
I walk out of bondage.
I walk out of sleepless nights.
I walk out of long-time chains.
I see You are willing, so I rise and walk with You.
Amen.

Your seed of expectation is enough — your healing has begun.
